Installation
Step 1: Invite the Bot
Click the button below to invite Vouchly to your Discord server:
Add Vouchly to DiscordStep 2: Grant Permissions
Vouchly requires the following permissions to function properly:
- Send Messages - To post vouches and responses
- Embed Links - To create beautiful vouch embeds
- Attach Files - For proof file uploads
- Manage Roles - For scammer role assignment
- Read Message History - To update existing messages
Important
Make sure Vouchly's role is positioned above any roles you want it to manage (like scammer roles).
Initial Setup
Configure Your Server
Run the setup command to configure Vouchly for your server:
/setvouchconfig vouch_channel:#vouches
Example:
/setvouchconfig vouch_channel:#vouches modlog_channel:#logs
Optional Configuration
You can also configure:
- Role Restrictions - Require a specific role to vouch
- Account Age - Minimum Discord account age to vouch
- Market Channel - For buy/sell/trade listings
- Feedback Channel - For general feedback
Vouch Commands
/vouch
Submit a vouch for a seller with ratings, comments, and proof.
Parameters:
user- The seller to vouch for (required)rating- Rating from 1-5 (required)comment- Your comment about the transaction (required)product- Product or service name (required)price- Price paid (required)proof- URL to proof (optional)proof_file- Upload proof file (optional)anonymous- Hide your name (optional)
Example:

/editvouch
Edit a vouch you previously submitted.
Example:
/editvouch vouch_id:12345 new_rating:4 new_comment:"Good service"
/removevouch
Remove a vouch you submitted.
Example:
/removevouch vouch_id:12345
/myvouches
View all vouches you've received in this server.
Example:
/myvouches
Profile Commands
/profile
View a user's vouch profile with stats and reputation.
Example:
/profile user:@User
/settings
Customize your profile with banners, bio, payment info, and social links.
Customization Options:
- • Custom banner image
- • Profile bio/description
- • Payment methods (PayPal, CashApp, etc.)
- • Social media links

/export
Export all your vouches to a JSON file for backup or transfer.

Server Commands
/leaderboard
View the server's vouch leaderboard with top users.
/stats
View detailed server statistics including total vouches, users, and activity.
/rank
Check your current vouch rank in the server.
/info
Get detailed information about the server or a specific user.
/recent
View the most recent vouches submitted in the server.
Utility Commands
/help
Show the help menu with all available commands.
/support
Get the support server invite link.
/invite
Get the bot invite link to add Vouchly to other servers.
/ping
Check the bot's latency and response time.
/verify
Check your verification level based on vouches received.
/compare
Compare your vouch stats with another user.
Admin Commands
Administrator Only
These commands require Administrator permissions in your server.
/setvouchconfig ADMIN
Configure vouch channels, role restrictions, and server settings.
Full Example:
/setvouchconfig vouch_channel:#vouches modlog_channel:#logs use_role_restriction:True allowed_role:@Verified min_account_age_days:7
/vouchpanel ADMIN
Create a custom vouch panel with buttons. Fully customizable with your own title, description, color, banner, and icon.
After running this command, a modal will appear where you can customize every aspect of your vouch panel.
/blacklist ADMIN
Blacklist a user from submitting vouches in your server.
Example:
/blacklist user:@User reason:"Spam vouching"
/unblacklist ADMIN
Remove a user from the blacklist.
/termuser ADMIN
Delete all vouches for a specific user in your server.
This action cannot be undone!
Moderation Commands
/reportscammer
Report a scammer to the admin team with proof. Supports file uploads.
Parameters:
user- The user to report (required)reason- Reason for the report (required)proof- URL to proof (optional)proof_file- Upload proof file (optional)
Example:
/reportscammer user:@Scammer reason:"Took payment and didn't deliver" proof_file:[Upload Screenshot]
Reports are sent to admin channels with Approve/Deny buttons. Approved reports automatically assign a scammer role.

View all reports submitted for a specific user.
/report
Report a user with a reason (general reporting).
Channel Setup
Vouchly can be configured to use different channels for different purposes:
Vouch Channel
Where vouches are posted. This is required.
/setvouchconfig vouch_channel:#vouches
Modlog Channel
For moderation logs and admin actions. Optional but recommended.
/setvouchconfig modlog_channel:#logs
Market Channel
For buy/sell/trade listings. Optional.
/setvouchconfig market_channel:#market
Feedback Channel
For general feedback and suggestions. Optional.
/setvouchconfig feedback_channel:#feedback
Vouch Panels
Vouch panels allow users to submit vouches via a button click, making the process more user-friendly.
Creating a Vouch Panel
- Run
/vouchpanel channel:#vouches color:EB45A0 - A modal will appear with customization options
- Fill in your desired title, description, footer, banner URL, and icon URL
- Click Submit and the panel will be created in your chosen channel
Customization Options:
- • Panel Title - Main heading
- • Description - Instructions for users
- • Footer Text - Bottom text
- • Banner Image URL - Top image
- • Icon/Thumbnail URL - Side icon
- • Color - Hex color code (e.g., EB45A0)
Permissions & Restrictions
Role Restrictions
You can require users to have a specific role to use the vouch command:
/setvouchconfig use_role_restriction:True allowed_role:@Verified
Account Age Restrictions
Require a minimum Discord account age (in days) to prevent new account spam:
/setvouchconfig min_account_age_days:7
Users who don't meet the requirements will receive an error message when trying to vouch.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I delete a vouch?
Use /removevouch vouch_id:12345 to remove a vouch you submitted. Only the person who submitted the vouch can remove it.
Can I vouch for myself?
No, Vouchly prevents self-vouching to maintain integrity.
What file types are supported for proof uploads?
All standard image formats (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP) and Discord's supported file types.
How do scammer reports work?
Reports are sent to designated admin channels with Approve/Deny buttons. When approved, the reported user automatically receives a scammer role.
Is Vouchly free?
Yes! Vouchly is completely free with all features included. No premium tiers or hidden costs.
Troubleshooting
Bot not responding to commands
- Make sure the bot has permission to read and send messages in the channel
- Check if the bot is online (green status)
- Try re-inviting the bot with the correct permissions
Vouches not appearing in channel
- Run
/setvouchconfigto set up the vouch channel - Ensure the bot has permission to send embeds in that channel
- Check if the channel still exists
Scammer role not being assigned
- Make sure Vouchly's role is positioned above the scammer role in server settings
- Verify the bot has "Manage Roles" permission
- Check that the scammer role ID is correct in configuration
